What you get with Doula Des

A free meeting to discuss services, my approach, and client expectations.

Typically includes 1-2 prenatal visits. These visits focus on building support, discussing birth preferences, creating a birth plan, and addressing any questions or concerns.

On-call period starts at 38-42 weeks gestation (varies by agreement). I provide continuous support during labor and birth, including emotional, physical, and informational support.

1-2 postpartum visits to debrief the birth experience, provide breastfeeding support, assist with newborn care questions, and offer emotional support for the new family.

I commit to being on-call 24/7 for expecting client starting at an agreed upon gestational week (commonly 36-40 weeks). This means I will be reachable and ready to attend the birth whenever labor begins. On-call period typically lasts until the birth, with some flexibility for early or late arrivals.
